About Us
Our Charter
The Family Practice Medical Centres aim to provide quality healthcare services to meet our patient’s requirements.
Patients have a right to:
-
Prompt and courteous treatment at their appointed time
-
Have delays caused by medical necessity and emergencies notified and explained to them
-
Confidentiality at all times
-
Access to information about there health, illness and treatment
-
Access to their own medical records within the limits of the law
-
Assistance and information about the maintenance of good health, avoidance of illness and self treatment for minor ailments.
-
Sympathetic and impartial investigation of legitimate complaints.
To help us meet these patient rights, please:
-
Be on time for your appointment, should this not be possible please notify the relevant healthcare centre and make arrangements to reschedule.
-
Make separate appointments for different patients or should you need to be seen together ask for a double appointment.
-
Whilst we do limited numbers of house calls please make every effort to make your appointment for the healthcare facility. House calls take much needed doctor time away from other patients.
Should your condition change and your appointment is no longer necessary please inform the reception staff. Other patients may be waiting for an appointment.
